There was no simple, private way for families to keep and share those moments. This experience inspired us to build an app that gently prompts stories, lets families control their own archive and captures everything from bedtime tales to cherished recipes. Heirview has grown into a place with personal timelines, a family tree and a family room for messages—all designed to keep your family’s stories alive for generations.

No. Your memories stay in your Family Archive as long as your account is active. Even if the person who uploaded them passes away, a designated successor or family member will always be able to access and cherish them.
Yes. Heirview is invite‑only. Only people you invite can see your family’s stories. We don’t sell or share your data with advertisers or anyone else.
Absolutely. You can download your original files, captions, and transcripts at any time, so you always have your own copies.
Every video comes with auto‑generated captions that you can edit and translate into your preferred language. You decide whether captions are shown or hidden when watching.
Heirview’s AI suggests interview questions, titles, and short summaries based on what you say. It never shares your data outside your family, and you can turn it off whenever you want.
Your memories remain available for download. If the account owner deletes their account or stops paying, there will be a grace period so you can transfer or download your archive before anything is removed.
The person who creates the family profile controls the storage and permissions. They can designate a successor to take over if needed. Only designated people can upload to the family archive.
